Teleton Bus Project

The Teleton Bus Project provides critical transportation services to hundreds of Los Cabos Children needing specialty medical care that is only available in La Paz.

Before having the Teleton buses, hundreds of children had to discontinue their medical treatments due to the high cost of public transportation and the lack of specialty equipment to accommodate their needs.

The Teleton Bus Project is a community-wide effort that provides transportation to the critical pediatric services only offered in La Paz; cancer treatment, cardiac care and other specialty care. Although the Bus Project is operated by Teleton, any local nonprofit can use the services. These buses are specially equipped with wheelchair lifts, special seats and storage areas for wheelchairs.
